The "GEL-NYC" was born from a collaborative development with Angelo Baque, who works with ＜Awake NY＞.

The shoe's name comes from newly-released York, a city where new styles are constantly emerging. It's a lifestyle shoe created by blending archive shoes that symbolize the brand, timeless designs, and elements inspired by present-day culture. The upper structure is based on the "GEL-NIMBUS 3" from the early 2000s, incorporating various design elements from the "GEL-MC PLUS V" released in 2021, and redesigned with the sole of the "GEL-CUMULUS 16" for the tooling, making it a mash-up model for a new era.

This model is a limited edition, available only at mita sneakers, Herringbone Footwear, and EDIFICE in Japan.
